The View is classified as a news show and therefore should not go on hiatus at any time. It bothers me when I turn on the TV only to see a repeat, especially if there has been breaking news. I understand the need to take time off, but there should be guest hosts to fill the empty chairs, and some of the regular cast should be there.....hopefully have guests who can contribute and discuss current events.
