Re: "Beautiful Girls"

Ann Miller, Martha Ray.....I swear I thought Joy Behar was in there.  Dolly.....Please list them. I know the faces but can't name them!  (Ann really likes being out front)

No way....Christine Ebersole???  Oh wait.....Grey Gardens comes up as related to Sondheim Follies.

Re: "Beautiful Girls"

Thanks for responding Zeke. You're right about Ann Miller.
It's not Martha Raye, but you're close, it's Kaye Ballard.
I'll post the rest tomorrow.

Re: "Beautiful Girls"

The clip I posted was from a production by the Papermill Playhouse.
Burgo and I have seen Follies three times and we enjoyed this production more than the other two.
The 1998 Paper Mill Playhouse production (Millburn, New Jersey) was directed by Robert Johanson with choreography by Jerry Mitchell and starred Donna McKechnie (Sally), Dee Hoty (Phyllis), Laurence Guittard (Ben), Tony Roberts (Buddy), Kaye Ballard (Hattie ), Eddie Bracken (Weismann), and Ann Miller (Carlotta). Phyllis Newman and Liliane Montevecchi reprised the roles they played in the Lincoln Center production.

Lee Hoty is a tall blond, so you may have thought it was Christine Ebersole and Phyllis Newman does resemble Joy Behar.
