Joe Biden's campaign seized on a report in The Atlantic that the rump privately referred to American soldiers who had died in combat as “losers” and “suckers," holding a call with Khizr Khan, a Gold Star father, and Sen. Tammy Duckworth on Friday.
Duckworth referred to President Trump's record of avoiding service in the Vietnam War, saying “I am not shocked to hear more instances of Donald Trump belittling those who have shown more bravery than he is capable of."

Joe Biden called the rump’s reported insults of fallen soldiers “disgusting” on Friday.
“It is deplorable. It is so un-American. It is so unpatriotic,”

Capt. Chesley "Sully" Sullenberger III, whose heroic deed in 2009 came to be known as the Miracle on the Hudson, unleashed a series of social media posts Friday criticizing the rump andlinking to the article,
The pilot vaunted for his grace under pressure as he landed an airliner in the Hudson River called the rump "completely unfit" for office and urged people to "vote him out" in response to a report in The Atlantic magazine that said rump disparaged US service members killed in battle and chose to skip a ceremony honoring veterans.

Good for Capt Sullenberger and all of the top brass military heroes and politicians who have called Trump out for his anti American statements about fallen soldiers. Sen Tammy Duckworth and Howard Dean were on point and justified to call him out.....and speaking about the flack he's getting, Joanne Rogers who is the widow of Our beloved Fred Rogers, called Trump a terrible
