Sen. Mitt Romney said that he already voted in this year’s presidential election — and not for the rump. Earlier this year, he was the lone Republican to vote to convict the president at his impeachment trial.

A few other Republicans have attempted to distance themselves from the rump as well. Some of those include Senate majority whip John Thune, Senator John Cornyn, Senator Pat Toomey, Senator Shelley Capito, Senator Susan Collins, Senator Cory Gardner and Senator Tim Scott.
