Republican Kelly Loeffler actually posed for a picture with former Ku Klux Klan leader Chester Doles.  Her campaign is insisting that she had no idea who he was.  It's not her first encounter with Doles, she knows exactly who he is.  He's also a convicted felon.  Loeffler knows that it'll appeal to her base, so it's worth a little controversy.  The Georgia racists will appreciate the message she's sent.  You don't have to hide your true feelings any more, the right embraces them.
