Had my own experience that can't be explained.  I was sitting in my living room minding my own business when these two bright running lights, like you see blinking on the front of a plane, came right up to my deck, then took off at a high rate of speed toward the road, then shot out of sight.  So close to my deck, there's just no explanation for what happened, so fast and silent.  Our deck is about ten feet off the ground.  

Maybe it was a misguided rover.........

Yeah, I looked good to them!  I was more, what the heII, than scared.  We have one neighbor across the road, the rest are about a quarter of a mile away.  That's a story on its own, the man of the house hung himself in the back yard last June.  His wife is there alone now.  Every time we look out our front window that's what we think about now.  It's been a bad year all around!
