House Republican Leader Kevin McCarthy and Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell announced they won't support the commission, siding with Republicans who have tried to downplay efforts to overturn the 2020 election and the attack.

Apparently some blue lives don't matter.

MEMBERS of the U.S. Capitol Police have issued a statement to members of Congress expressing "profound disappointment" with McConnell and McCarthy's positions on the Jan. 6 commission, citing the "trauma" that officers endured that day."
