Awwwwwwww...Spunky....are you out celebrating?
I really didn't want this to happen. She annoyed me but I found the battles entertaining. Boring to have all there in agreement. I actually think it's a thing to happen.
Bring back Jedediah Bila.

ok, I've been away for a while...and I don't even watch The View anymore, but this is news!
not sad to see her go, but they do need to replace her with a conservative voice. Who do you think it will be?

I agree that Meghan needs to be replaced with a conservative voice. Just let it be someone who’s father or mother isn’t a well known celebrity or politician. Let it be someone who is qualified and level headed.
Meghan’s departure doesn’t surprise me because I’m sure she’s been called out many times by the bosses at ABC. I do wish her all the best though.

Both of my daughters are in M's age group. If we remember back, the 30s is an age that is in between: not totally grown up, thinking you are, think you know it all..... M just didn't get that she was beating a dead horse, talking so much about her dad. I get that she misses him and that's kind of young to lose a parent. She was devastated. I don't think she has anyone in her life that will tell her when to shut the hell up.
Anyway, when we see her again, maybe she will have matured. (hope so) This will be a learning experience for her.
In the meantime, I vote for Jedediah Bila to replace M.

Jedediah may not want to come back. If I remember correctly, she had already signed a new contract to come back the next year and then was fired so Meghan could join the panel. I thought it was wrong to do that to her because she was a highly skilled journalist.

I'm wondering if M was actually fired. The View has been very generous in allowing fired hosts to spin their departure any way they want. All of them, with the exception of Star Jones have been gracious about their departure--even Rosie O.

I wouldn't mind if Nicole Wallace came back. I liked her but I know many did not.

If they bring back EH I won't watch anymore. Then they are just w____s looking for ratings.

I hope the producers do not stoop to that level. They need an intelligent, qualified person.

Nicole's voice made me nuts. Even on MSNBC, and I listen on the radio, she sounds like she's whining. And she makes good points. Anyway, if I were her I'd stay where she is.......... You have to be smart and tough to sit at that table. Remember Rosie Perez? I liked her but she got beaten up. I think the pressure got to her.

They need to get back in the studio. This is no longer working. Reading the monitors is really bad....both Joy and Whoopi are terrible at it....Sarah sounds like she's doing commercials, Sonny sounds like she's reading 'cause she is, and Ana is better but no prize.
