DM was thought of as the "young one" when the show first started, original cast. She was naïve and un-seasoned.  
She made a comment about Morgan Freeman and accented it with a kind of...."ilthck". Kind of criticizing his looks/appearance. So Star very, very sharply said "What's wrong with Morgan Freeman?" To which DM must have stammered through or just shut-up, I don't remember. But I remember the comment because I felt exactly the same as Star. It was offensive!!!!!! I think DM exited the show shortly after that.
But I can forgive her for that if it means NO EH!!!!!

why can’t they hire a level headed clear thinking Republican? Nicole Wallace and Jebidiah Bila  come to mind, and yet they didn’t last long. Please just don’t ask Sherry Shepherd or Jenny McCarthy back. The show is classified as a news show and those 2 women drove me crazy. EH needs to stay in Nashville and they don’t need a man to cohost either.

Jeb had already signed a new contract when someone decided Meghan McCain should be hired. JB was let go. I sure hope they gave her a decent amount of money because she deserved it. I don’t think she’ll come back and I don’t blame her. I liked Lisa Ling. I doubt she will come back……

SS and JM? They were two of the biggest mistakes in the history of the show. So was Rosie Perez, although she's talented, it was a miscast.
There must be someone else who might fit in....conservative. I think it's a tough job. I heard they are leaning toward making it more celebrity driven in terms of guests. I won't like that. I like the political stuff. That will take them out of the news show status. 
Is that an indication that the replacement for M will be more of a celebrity?

I thought this show was classified as a news show……celebrity guests are well and good, but they need to continue to interview politicians.
