President Biden[/url] will head to [url= ]Louisiana[/url] today to survey damage after the state was battered by [url= ]Hurricane Ida.
Biden will be in Louisiana for six hours beginning at noon, and is scheduled to deliver remarks in LaPlace at 4:15 p.m[/url]. He will begin his tour of the [url= ]state in New Orleans and will speak about the damage and a path forward with various local leaders.
The announced visit comes after Democratic Gov. John Bel Edwards invited the president to the state, noting that "getting eyes on the damage in person" is far better than seeing it on the news.
