Looks like the US border will open up next month. Fully vaccinated Canadians will be able to drive across the border….no COVID test required. Good news, but I had mixed doses. Pfizer and then Moderna. I’m not sure if that’s going to be an issue. I do think that I’ll need a booster before too long, so I may not be driving south anytime in the near future.

It's good that the ban for travel was lifted, but you should be fully vaccinated and not take any chances..

I’m fully vaccinated and have been very careful. Still not ready to drive across the border though……as much as I’d like to. I haven’t even left my province since last July.

Wow.....feeling better in NY but I might go to MN in early November and the numbers there are high. Always something.....I guess this is our world for now.

Stay safe Zeke. I’m itching to get away. Hubby told me that my mixed vaccines Moderna and Phizer (sp ?)……aren’t a
problem and we can drive to Maine if we want to.

I think it’s in Murray Hill…..it was quite a trek walking from our hotel in Korea Town in the sweltering June heat, but the food was so good. I’ll see if I can find the address for you. It’s not a fancy place, and the food is not some chef’s idea of fusion Mexican cuisine. I think the restaurant opened in 1959……
