Meghan’s book
I guess the truth is her book is riddled with lies about the time she spent on The View. The show’s executives are clapping back because in all fairness they need to fight back. She certainly has burned bridges, hasn’t she! Those of us who continued to watch the show these past 4 yrs know first hand how difficult Meghan was. I had to laugh when she talked about Joy telling her she hadn’t missed her when she was on maternity leave….like that came out of Joy’s mouth unprovoked. Meghan goaded her and Joy snapped. MM also talked about who had been good or bad guests. God only knows what Nathan Lane did to make it on to her shit list. He’s always come across as a funny and cordial guest. He’s a Democrat so that could have pissed her off….who knows. I know right wing Republicans will buy her book. Good for them. personally, I will not be lining her pockets because it seems to me she wants money. She didn’t waste time writing that book, and in doing so has burned that bridge. I doubt that she’ll ever be invited back on the show. I can only imagine what Joy, Whoopi, Sunny, Sarah and Ana are saying about this in private. I’d love to be a fly on the wall.

She is always seeking attention....she did it on The View and now again....
I hope they NEVER invite her back on the show

They may invite Meghan’s mother back on the show because she’s been a popular guest……wouldn’t that piss Meghan off.

I can't believe that M was treated as badly as she says. If that were the case, why does her mother come on the show so often? I may read her book just to see what she has to say, but won't buy it. Eventually I may borrow it from the library.

M's mom was on the show this current season. She knows her daughter is a spoiled brat. Mom has her own career.

just the other day I read an article about Abby Huntsman and Candace Cameron claiming that the atmosphere at The View was toxic. I looked for it today because I wanted to post something and couldn't find it, although I found this article from Jan 2020. She said her relationship with Megan was strained and that the overall atmosphere was "toxic."
I'm sure the women are under a lot of pressure there. "Toxic?" I don't know. I think Megan probably created a toxic environment around her. What do all of you think about these three claiming it's toxic? Do you think it is?

I would guess that it was toxic for them because they are conservatives and poor ones at that. I don’t think they get a lot of kudos for the jobs they did in general. I don’t believe either one of those women are well informed or are very good at presenting their points of view.
Anyway, I’m glad all of them are gone.
They need someone like Jed Bila who is tough, smart, well informed, and not afraid to confront other strong women.

Abby Huntsman was just meh as a cohost. Lacklustre and boring. Candace Cameron Burre had zero experience as a journalist/political commenter. She represented far right leaning Christian Evangelicals well enough tho’ and I’m not in that demographic because I’m an LGBTQ supporting, pro choice person. Jeb has moved on to bigger and better things, so she won’t be back. I did like her and was sad that Meghan took that job away from her……
