    I hope he’s convicted and sent to prison for a long time, but my gut tells me he’s only going to get a slap on the wrist, or he’s going to walk.

    He looks to be going for the Oscar for Best Actor today.

    He made the choice to drive 45 minutes (across three counties and a state line) to confront people with a gun. (an AR 15)

    He broke the law to be there, armed.

    Right then and there, any claims of “self-defense” go out the window, because he did it during the commission of a crime.

    If he walks it's a message that what he did is ok....a message that you can do this without punishment.

    I agree...it seems that the Judge has taken a liking to that killer....perhaps he wants to adopt him...

    Im happy that it’s taking time to reach a verdict. Maybe that means the jury is actually trying to not show bias and let him walk. My fingers are crossed that they do the right thing.

    whichever way this goes, it will rally the far right.  If he's convicted, he becomes a martyr.  If he walks, it makes it ok to go out an shoot unarmed people "in self defense."
