I'm hooked on all the Below Deck shows. I recently read an article about some of the "reality" shows. On Below Deck, the guests get a significant discount on their charter fee and get free airfare. They still pay the rest of the charter fee, which is significant, and are responsible for paying the tip--again sizable. So, you do have to be rich to charter the boat, but aren't paying full price. In my opinion, this allows rich jerks a chance to be stars. A recent episode of Sailing Yacht had the guests from hell from last season on again-this time with their husbands. I'm no fool--I'm sure they were asked to return. The primary was an a$$, plain and simple. I think he was trying to outdo the other charters so people would talk about him. Did anyone see it?
