I never thought I’d see the eclipse but a friend texted that she had an extra pair of glasses, in fact, two. Another friend saw the post and we were off to the races!
The two glass-less girls grabbed the glasses from her mailbox and we made it to an open field with only two other people to view the sight…..and what a cool sight it was.
It looked like a yellow banana…..it didn’t get dark but it got cold and windy….a lesson on how much we need that sun!! Cold in a matter of minutes. And then it was over. But us two girls bonded!! Who knows if we’ll be around for the next one?
