Former rump aide Hope Hicks testifies in hush money trial !
- Hope Hicks, once a longtime trusted aide in Donald rump’s inner circle, has concluded her testimony in the New York criminal hush money trial. Court proceedings are done for the week and the trial will resume Monday morning.

- Hicks, the prosecution's ninth witness, testified about her role as the rump’s 2016 campaign press secretary, the aftermath of the “Access Hollywood” tape release and said the rump told her about Michael Cohen's payment to Stormy Daniels.

- Hicks described the “crisis” response to the tape and the rump’s direct involvement in media responses. At one point during her testimony, Hicks started tearing up and the court took a short break.

- Prosecutors accuse the rump of taking part in an illegal conspiracy to undermine the integrity of the 2016 election and an unlawful plan to suppress negative information, including the Daniels payment. The rump is charged with 34 counts of falsifying business records. He has pleaded not guilty and denied the affair with Daniels
