Today they brought a mother and her two daughters on to discuss their allegations that they stripped and slept with players at U. of Louisville players. It sounded like they were coming forward to sell her book which the mother decided to write because she tried to talk to officials at the university about what was going and they wouldn't listen to her. It really sounds like she is trying to get a big paycheck out of the whole thing. Maybe thought she would get paid by University to keep quiet and when that didn't happen she moved on to writing a book. First of all it is kind of sick that this mother would partake in such activities along with her daughters. I mean wouldn't it be really awkward to entertain men like that with you mother or daughters present? I don't understand why The View is helping this woman peddal her book. I wonder if anyone will buy it.

I am in no way endorsing this alleged behavior of U of L; but if she thought it was so wrong, why was she involved in it and then brought her daughers into it. Oh, and let's bring our young daughter onto national television to admit they are prostitutes. SMH.

Sounds like the content of the show hasn't improved much. So glad I'm not watching. I was kind of tempted today, because I saw that Whoopi wasn't on and I wanted to hear what Joy had to say about Hillary's kick-ass performance yesterday. But I stayed with CNN. I just can't handle Raven and I don't even know who the other two are.

Yeah it kind of cracked me up when they expressed concern for the kids they were performing for. I do believe it is all for the money.

I think Whoopi still has a lot of say into what topics get discussed on hot topics and it shows. I believe she is holding the show back from being the intelligent show it could be. I am hoping they let her go when her contract is up. Not crazy about Raven either.

I actually don't watch. I work from home a lot and it is on for noise for my dog. It is raining here today (FINALLY), so I haven't exactly been consumed with work.
Raven I just ignore, but that new one, I think here name is Michelle, is an idiot. Raven may not know anything, but Michelle is pure ignorant, and has no idea how to set up a joke.

Oh, I agree with you about Michelle. She gets on my nerves. She tries to be funny at the most inopportune times and she just isn't.

Her trying to discuss politics is just painfull. The bit with O'Malley the other day and his abs, I think embarred him. Not because of his physic, but because he was like: "Why am I being asked these type of questions, when I am here as a presidential candidate!!!" They would be up in arms if these type of things were done to a female candidate.

Hi need,
These were not allegations, they were facts this 'mom' was making. She did admit being in it for the money and to promote her book. How unfortunate for The View to promote such blatant abuse of her children and support for prostitution, which the mom admitted to. My heart ached for her daughters. The View should be ashamed!

At this point it is what they are saying took place which is why I said allegations. How do we know that they aren't making it all up to try to get a bunch of money.

You're right about that need, they are allegations against the university. However, I do believe the facts are that this 'mom' and her daughters were escorts/prostitutes for college athletes. Whether or not the university promoted it is still alleged.
