Rachel Maddow and MSNBC are experiencing double-digit ratings growth with younger viewers while Fox News has seen their viewership decline by 11% with persons age 25-54.
As MSNBC is growing, and CNN’s audience is up an amazing 101%, Fox News has seen a ratings decline, “But unlike CNN and MSNBC, Fox News was down in the A25-54 demo vs. Oct. 2014: down -11 percent in total day and down -1 percent in prime time. Among total viewers, the network saw growth: up +3 percent in both total day and in primetime.”
MSNBC is up by double digits. CNN is up by triple digits, and Fox News has flatlined.
Much of CNN’s growth came from the record-setting Democratic debate, but MSNBC is the only cable network not to have aired a debate yet, and they are growing over eight times faster than Fox.

Watching Fox, has actually changed the personalities of some of my family members, and not for the good. Very unhappy people 24/7.

This has been my experience as well. Between FOX news & a.m. radio they have become extremely negative. Don't get me started on all the info I have to correct with them, which brings me to another point regarding conserve media, those listening to it refuse to hear facts. Maybe it is brainwashing? You show them something from the gov, NASA, CDC, FBI or a well respected university, such as Harvard & they refuse to believe it! They just keep citing blogs & opinion pieces perfectly happy not to do the research! Ugh!

I really believe it's a cult. Fox spends an alarming amount of time trying to convince it's viewers that nobody else is telling them the truth, that they can only hear the truth from them. Their ratings depend on their followers only getting their news from, and believing one source, "Fox." Every other news outlet can't be believed, they're all corrupt, except for them. It's scary.

Maybe it's physiological. My friend's brother was super liberal until he developed Alzheimer's. After that he started watching Fox 24/7 whenever he was not wondering the neighborhood. Now he is a loyal conservative who can't stand President Obama.

I've noticed subtle changes in a few of my older relatives who have been in the Fox News bubble. I think it's getting harder for otherwise intelligent people to keep defending the crazy tings that the frontrunners are saying. I saw a lot of people online who were fed up with Carly's bull on the PP issue. I think Fox will always have a loyal base following of terrified people, but I hope that more people are starting to turn to other sources for their news.

The people I know who are FOX news viewers are angry and paranoid people. It really does do something to the mindset of its viewers. I think it is really good news that FOX news is dropping in ratings and other channels are rising in ratings.

I have also noticed that a lot of the right wing conservatives have turned on Fox because they apparently don't support Trump.
