First world problems

Since Saturday night I've been pretty much stuck at the hospital because my son had a fever and he lives with a supressed immune system. We had a fun Halloween and I am not complaining. The hospital is great and we should be home by Thursday but the internet is SO SLOW...it literally took me 35 minutes to send this message. pls forgive typos!

I have been watching CNN nonstop (between cartoons, that's when I nap) and have so much to talk about! I'll be back.

Re: First world problems

Hope you both get home soon, and that he is on the mend. Don't worry about us...we are all ok...

Do you ever have a feeling you are about to say the wrong thing to someone? I hope I'm wrong about that
feeling, here goes :

I'll keep you and your family in my prayers.
It's all I have to offer.

Re: First world problems

Hi Shiny,
Hope your Son is feeling better. This weather can play havoc on a supressed immune system.

Halloween was a bust here. Rained pretty much all day.

Take care & I hope you both get home soon!

Hope he feels better soon, nothing harder than having a sick child.

Re: First world problems

I remember when i would start downloading a song at night and hope that it would be finished by the time i left for school in the morning. Nowadays, I click on a gif and if it doesn't load in 15 seconds I just move on. I'm telling you, nothing tests your patience like slow internet and no cell service. I'm never taking my internet service for granted again.
