Anyone been following up their latest hack? They released a partial list of gov officials allegedly connected to a the KKK. If this is true it would certainly explain a lot.
Senator Tom Tillis from North Carolina
Senator John Cornyn, Texas
Senator, John Horne Iverson, Georgia
Senator, Dan Coats, Indiana
Mayor, Madeline Rogero, Knoxville TN
Mayor Jim Mayer, Lexington KY
Mayor Kent Guinn, Ocala, Florida
Mayor Tom Henry, Fort Wayne Indiana

There isn't a John Horne Iverson in the GA Senate seat.

Caribou I am guessing they meant Isakson, John Hardy Isakson. I wonder what, if any proof will be provided.

Okay, this might seem like a doofus question , but where would one go online to verify this
type of information? I seriously doubt Snopes would be the place to begin the search for an
answer to this one. Then you end up with some unnamed source that hasn't been validated in
their own right (rite?), and that still ends up leaving the question of how accurate is the original
post?
This would explain why I am not real quick to post threads like this one. If I can't validate it, before hand,
I avoid posting it because I am not all that fond of researching these things.  Cinnuit used to jump on
my case for doing that and after a couple of times, I decided she was right and I quit posting threads
that I couldn't say had a trusted source. So, with that being said, help me, help you, by having your back and
being able to verify this information for you. Please and thank you.

Unless we are part of Anonymous or a hacker ourselves we cannot verify it right now. The collective has not released all info yet. This is just the beginning. No one will take this serious unless they release proof of their findings. Anonymous has never disappointed, so I am guessing they have something up their sleeves.

At least four of those accused are Republican.
Thom Tillis (R-NC)
John Cornyn (R-TX) (Majority Whip of the US Senate)
Johnny Isakson (R-GA)
Dan Coats (R-IN)

True, but to be fair I think some of the mayors are dems.

I have faith in Anonymous. They will release the proof if this list was really put out by them. I think this is fantastic. It's about time that people faced the truth about racism today. All those people who claim racism is a thing of the past and that blacks just need to pull themselves up by the bootstraps....wonder how many of them are on the list?

Exactly. They all know racism is extremely prevalent, but they pretend that it isn't to hide their own racism or prejudice.

Apparently this list was a hoax. Anonymous is denying that they released that list, and said they will be publishing their list on Thursday.

Thanks for updating. I was hoping it was not the real list because there were a few on the list that did not make sense. Caribou pointed one out which the name wasn't correct. Seems someone might be trying to discredit the real list.

You know I do believe the list was a hoax. A couple of the people on that list deny that they are part of the KKK and they give pretty compelling evidence that they aren't. They have championed causes that the KKK would not approve of. It just didn't make any sense to me. I am thinking that looking at their voting records and political records to see what causes they have supported. That can tell a lot.

I think you are right, Vantro. Someone is trying to discredit the real list. I believe that the real list will pass all the fact checking. Anonymous does not play games.
