Shiny fids!

How are your new additions doing? Are they getting along better in separate cages? Kids still enjoying? Hope all is well!

Re: Shiny fids!

They are doing much better in different cages! Thanks for asking.

We have them side by side and we let them out of their cages at the same time every day to get a little excercise and explore.

We've got them on an oats/millet/canary diet and supplementing with fruits, veggies and greens. It's been really fun giving them a new treat every week or so. Jackie loves oranges and Jill hates them so much she'll fling them around in her cage and have a little tantrum. LMAO. I had no idea they had such strong and different personalities!

My daughters still check in on them every day and enjoy helping to feed them and clean their cages, but my son...is TOTALLY in love with the birds. He wants the cages in his room but we have convinced him that they are better in our rec room where there are bigger windows and more light.

How are things going in the animal/bird hierarchy struggle at your place? And are the goat and the pig still inside or are they staying the building you said you might move them to? Did you get another goat or do you just have the one?

Is this Redfoo's first Xmas with you? If so I wonder what he'll think of all the decorations and the tree! LOL

I love the bird, dog, goats and cat threads...Can't wait to hear what trouble 'Redfoo' gets into.

Thanks for posting!!

There was a poster on the other board that used to post alot about animals too...I think it was
" jgwalt" or something like that...
