The lead singer of Stone Temple Pilots and Velvet Revolver was found dead on his tour bus. He had a long history of substance abuse but no official cause yet. 

I know he was a troubled guy but I still absolutely love some of his music. Sex Type Thing was the first song I ever downloaded. 

Very sad. Reminds me of the day Shannon Hoon was found in basically the same way, after a heroin overdose.
