there are people that have thoughts like Donald Trump but they know the thoughts are wrong and push them out of their minds because deep down, they're good people. But then they see someone like Donald Trump who is successful and a celebrity saying those awful things and they start to think, well maybe it isn't so wrong to think those things. Those people are crawling out from under the bushes and supporting this man. Where things went wrong right from the beginning was the media giving so much attention to Trump. Everyone thought he was just a joke and would eventually go away, but when they gave him so much attention they increased his popularity. Does this man have advisers? I really don't think so. He doesn't seem to be a man who would take advice from anyone.

Great Post!..It really is scary to think that he brings out the bigotry and racist views his followers had hidden all along, and now believe its ok to behave in this hateful manner.
What really surprises me is that his wife, his sons and daughters let their father say all of these hateful things and don't try to stop him. Don't they see that their father is suffering from dementia???
I still think he's a joke....a dangerous man....terrible for our country....who doesn't even realize he's jeopardizing the lives of his family members as well as his own. There is always a "crazier' person out there.

His family probably puts up with him because of the money and the power that goes with it. The man can't handle any kind of criticism, they probably know it too, he's a man who has always had things his way and people just let him get away with it.

From what I understand they tried to talk him out of running but he did it anyway. You never see them. They are probably ducking and waiting for the end to come.

Donald did drag out the family for one of his rallies.
The scene was awkward to say the least.
First he introduced his daughter Ivanka and her husband as the "newlyweds". They've been married for six years.
Then he asked the family to say hello. No one stepped up.
Finally, Melania did a Sophia Vergara a la russe, asking the audience "Eesn't he da best; he whell be thee gretest preseedent evair. Ve luv you".

The thing is, after Trump is long gone, these people are going have to explain to their grandchildren why they supported and defended someone who I believe history will judge as a dangerous, bigoted demogogue.
