WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW ABOUT THE CRISIS IN OREGON

I want to hear big mouth Trump, who has an opinion on everything, come out and tell us what he thinks of these terrorists.  The place would have been stormed already if these red-necks were anything but white, in fact I think it's safe to say they would be dead already.  The republicans would be preaching about how they deserved what they got and that the trash had been taken out. 

I have told my friends often, that there is a way to get the 2nd Amendment zealots to change their minds on reasonable gun laws...Have one or all  of the "Dreaded Three", Jackson, Sharpton, or Farrakhan go on national tv & tell every law abiding  black person in America to immediately go out & buy a minimum of one semiautomatic rifle & more if they can afford it.....I guarantee you many if not all of these gun rights folks  will immediately be open to some form of gun control!!!

Only in America is an unarmed black man more of a threat than 150 white anti- government militiamen armed with an arsenal !! SMH

I agree SEC...And a Black 12 year old is immediately shot dead only armed with a toy gun....why people can't see the irony and prejudice in all of this is beyond reason or understanding.

These nuts are saying that the governent took the land from ranchers & turned it into a sanctuary & they are "taking it back"....why don't they take it one step further ...after they "take it back"....give it back to the people it belonged to in the first place...Native Americans!!!!

Talk about white privilege !!!

 

Please direct me to where armed BLM took possession of a government building to the exclusion of all others and threatened to kill anyone who tried to take it back.

I am not so sure about that.  Black Lives matter took over shopping malls and airport access and no one killed any of them.  It is a protest just like Black Lives Matter.  The one difference being is these guys seem to doing a long term takeover whereas the BLM people only did short term take overs.  Both groups are protesting things that they are wrong.

 

BLM was/is an organized protest and non-violent.  Do I necessary agree with their tactics: no,but they only disrupt.  Still they were called thugs. 

This in Oregon is a violent, armed criminal act. --- they are called patriots? ?

The group in Oregon is not protesting! They have threatened violence if anyone tries to remove them from the building! They are using threats of violence & intimidation, which are acts of terrorism.

Definitions of Terrorism in the U.S. Code

18 U.S.C. § 2331 defines "international terrorism" and "domestic terrorism" for purposes of Chapter 113B of the Code, entitled "Terrorism”:

"International terrorism" means activities with the following three characteristics:

Involve violent acts or acts dangerous to human life that violate federal or state law;
Appear to be intended (i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population; (ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or (iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination, or kidnapping; and
Occur primarily outside the territorial jurisdiction of the U.S., or transcend national boundaries in terms of the means by which they are accomplished, the persons they appear intended to intimidate or coerce, or the locale in which their perpetrators operate or seek asylum.*
"Domestic terrorism" means activities with the following three characteristics:

Involve acts dangerous to human life that violate federal or state law;
Appear intended (i) to intimidate or coerce a civilian population; (ii) to influence the policy of a government by intimidation or coercion; or (iii) to affect the conduct of a government by mass destruction, assassination. or kidnapping; and

18 U.S.C. § 2332b defines the term "federal crime of terrorism" as an offense that:

Is calculated to influence or affect the conduct of government by intimidation or coercion, or to retaliate against government conduct; and
Is a violation of one of several listed statutes, including § 930(c) (relating to killing or attempted killing during an attack on a federal facility with a dangerous weapon); and § 1114 (relating to killing or attempted killing of officers and employees of the U.S.).
